The Requirements for Obtaining Dominica Citizenship/Passport

The most important requirement in Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment Programme is that the applicant must be of good character. To ensure this, background checks will be done on behalf of the Government, in respect of each adult applicant. These checks are done with great discretion and in the strictest confidence. No person or authority will be told of the reason why the checks are being made and no information about the application or the applicant will be given by the Government of Dominica to any other Governmental authority.

The documents and information which must be submitted for a successful application are as follows:

    • Two (2) completed and notarized copies of Application Form 12 for each applicant
    • Letter of recommendation from the head of the school/university for children between 18 and 21 years old
    • One (1) professional reference (we can provide a draft)
    • Letter of Employment/ Financial Statement certified by someone with qualification from a reputable accounting institution. (we can provide a draft)
    • Recommendation from applicant’s Bankers
    • Police Record from country of birth and country of residence (if different) with fingerprints, for each applicant sixteen (16) years and over. For children 12 to 16 years a parent must submit an Affidavit confirming no criminal conviction.
    • Four (4) passport size photos for each applicant
    • Marriage Certificate/Dissolution of Marriage if applicable
    • Birth Certificate
    • Medical Certificate
    • Letter addressed to the Honourable Minister with responsibility for citizenship requesting citizenship. (we can provide a draft)
    • Detailed Business Background Reports/Resume
    • Notarized copies of University/College diplomas (if available)
    • Photograph Verification Form (we can provide)
    • Notarized Disclosure Form (to be provided by us)
    • Certified copy of passport, drivers license and social security card
    • Proof of address
